COMMUNITY LIAISON NURSE
LOCATION: Kingsriver, Stoneyford Co. Kilkenny.
REPORTS TO: Residential Services Manager
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Chief Operating Officer
SALARY: Salary linked to Clinical Nurse Manager 1 payscales.
Due to new service development, we have an exciting new role for an
experienced enthusiastic Nurse who is looking for a new challenge.
This role is brand new to the service offering the successful
candidate scope to develop the role and provide clinical guidance to
our staff and individuals we support.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS:
* Be registered with the Intellectual Disability Division of the
Register of Nurses and Midwives held by An Bord Altranais and the
Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
* Have a Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with people with
Disabilities.
* Have a detailed knowledge of HIQA Standards/Regulations and Health
Act * (Care and Support of Residents in
Designated Centre for Persons (Children and Adults) with Disabilities)
* Have the ability to practice safely and effectively fulfilling
his/her professional responsibility within his/her scope of practice
* Have evidence of continuing professional development
* Have completed a course in Phlebotomy or willing to undertake
same.
* Have experience working with people with Dementia and Intellectual
Disability Desirable
* Full Clean Driving License Essential
